Reverse Operation: Pulling Power
While standard gas springs push outward (compression), a tension gas spring operates in reverse. Its resting state is fully compressed, and it requires mechanical force to pull it open. When released, the internal gas pressure forcefully pulls the rod back into the cylinder.
